Eploring London...

EXPLORING LONDON

As a little birthday treat, this weekend me and my boyfriend spontaneously took a trip to London.
We decided that we wanted to look at some museums, stay in a lovely hotel in Kensington and simply have fun!

Despite a few train incidents, 4 trains later we had arrived. First up we hit the National History Museum, had a scone and drink and explored. My personal favourite was the museum of the moon. As someone who is interested in space and everything that it hold, this exhibition was fascinating. Joe, on the other hand, was excited by the earthquake simulation.

After this, we took a walk in Hyde Park before concluding that we were very hungry and made our way to a lovely pub for lunch. This lunch was followed by checking into the hotel and a 2 hour nap! Turns out a large and comfy bed was no match for two people who had been up since 5:45am! After waking up and realising that I should probably get ready, we headed out to a German restaurant for a lovely meal! The proceeding walk around the area led us to a fab pub playing music where we ended the night with a few cheeky drinks!

Sunday, we got up early, checked out, went for a yummy breakfast and then headed for the bike racks. It wasn't as sunny as the previous day and so the bike ride around Hyde park was a chilly one, but refreshing non the less! A quick visit to the Victoria and Albert museum brought us up to hometime, back to reality or uni and work!

I cannot thank Joe enough for the weekend, it was truly special.

Love always, Annabelle
