Exploring Mallorca

Exploring Mallorca

Having not been to Mallorca in 5 years, our family holiday proved to be the perfect combination of reminiscing, relaxing and downright fun!
Mallorca is a particularly sentimental place for my mom as it is not only where my brother and I spent many childhood holidays, but it is also where she spent her family holidays as a child. The island is the perfect holiday destination for a variety of people, with Magaluf providing entertainment and alcohol for party-goers, the western and northern regions providing scenic views courtesy of the Traumantana mountains, and the town of Santanyi hosting the best market on the island. It is here that we spent our holiday.

The holiday was full of quality time with my family, amazing food experiences and a lot of laughs. Quality time this year was particularly important as I am off to University in September and so to spend two weeks with my family meant a lot. In addition, the relaxation that filled the holiday was very needed after a very stressful two years.

Some of the restaurants on the island are unbelievable eating experiences and we were very luck to be able to explore some of them. The food on the island is mouth-watering and was often followed by a mojito or two.  A few of my favourites were Jade, San Teressa, Cassai and Es Pinyet (photos below).

In the last week of the holiday we had the addition of Joe, who flew out and joined us, taking the role of boyfriend, ollie’s best mate and also a source of entertainment. He made the holiday extremely enjoyable for us all.

Overall, the holiday was amazing, extremely enjoyable and exactly what we all needed. I couldn’t be more grateful for my family and the holiday was a special one.
Thank you!

Love Always, Annabelle
